New location, but same smiley face. I offer piano lessons in North Melbourne and online for players who'd simply love to play!
Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, self-taught, returning to piano, prepping for AMEB, writing songs or playing for fun. I work with piano students of all different age, skill levels and backgrounds with the common goal to play more of the music they love.
Piano lessons are held in North Melbourne, on a lovely U1 Yamaha Upright acoustic piano.
There’s easy free street parking or a quick stroll from the 57 or 59 tram.
Can’t make it to North Melbourne? Attend piano lessons online via Zoom! Setup is simple with just a laptop.
Students can also swap between in-person to online lessons. Just join Zoom at your usual lesson time!

I’m an enthusiastic musician with over 15 years experience playing and teaching a wide range of styles, from classical to contemporary to punk to pop. I aspire to bring fun and share a love of music in all aspects of my work.
With my experience as a piano teacher, I’m an Associate Member of the Victorian Music Teachers Association (VMTA). A lifelong music learner, I’ve completed Berklee College of Music’s Keyboard Styles Professional Certificate, as well as AMEB Grade 8 in Piano, and AMEB Grade 5 in Theory.
An active player, I’ve played at venues from Collingwood to New York City. I love the variety of my work as a freelance events and wedding pianist (Michelle Plays Piano), as well as playing synth and drums in post-punk and indie bands around Melbourne.
