FYI: the deets to make the most of your lessons!

1. Piano Studio Policies

Regular Weekly Lessons

Lessons are scheduled weekly throughout the regular Victorian School Terms. Lessons are not scheduled during the school holiday periods or on Public Holidays.

Weekly lesson fees are:
30-mins ($44.50)
45-mins ($66.75)
60-mins ($89)

Play Piano at Home

Students should aim to regularly play piano between lessons. The more the merrier, but 5-10 mins at least 4 days a week is expected.

Pay Per Lesson

A weekly invoice will be emailed to you and you can pay by cash in-person, bank transfer or debit/credit card online.

Lesson fees are paid per lesson, and payment is due on the day of the lesson. If you do not settle your invoice on-time, you may lose your lesson spot.

Swap Onsite/Online Lessons

If you need to stay home, you can attend your piano lesson online!

Cancellation fee under 4-hours

Lesson cancellations with less than 4-hours notice will be charged $25.

Cancellations with more than 4-hours notice are free.

Discontinuing Lessons

Students can stop lessons at any time, there are no obligations or fees to discontinue lessons.

Please notify me as soon as you can.

Respect and Care for Piano Room

All attendees are expected to treat the studio with respect, and be mindful of excessive noise while entering the building.

Inappropriate treatment of the piano will not be tolerated. Any damage caused in the lesson room will incur a replacement fee.

Kids & Parent Supervision

Parent supervision is needed for any attending children 6-years and under.

For young students, parents are encouraged to sit in on lessons where possible, to aid with practice and progress at home.

In-Person & Online Safety

Students and parents often engage with piano lessons using online communications ie. to send sheet music, share music files and record performances. Please notify me if yourself or your child would like to opt out.
