After 10 years teaching in Northcote, I’m nervous but excited to move my piano lessons to North Melbourne!
Now located on Dryburgh Street (near the corner of Canning Street) in North Melbourne, I still offer fun piano lessons for kids and adults, for beginners to advanced players, returning players, the piano-curious, and anyone just wanting to give music lessons a go!
The studio room has bright big windows, and all piano lessons are taught on a lovely vintage Yamaha U1 Piano. All students need to bring to each lesson is themselves and a notebook!
Here’s a coupla happy snaps of the newly setup piano studio!

Attend Piano Lessons in-person or online!
Lessons are held in-person at my North Melbourne piano studio, or online via Zoom. Students are welcome to swap between in-person and online modes!
This ability to switch between attending in-person and online has been a super handy feature! It’s great for busy parents juggling pick-ups, or for sick days where you’re feeling up for learning but snotty enough to warrant staying home.
The set up for an online piano lesson is actually super simple. Students need:
- a keyboard or piano (can be any size, even a tiny MIDI keyboard will do)
- a laptop with a mic and camera
- an internet connection
That’s it!

Ready to try a piano lesson?
Wanna give piano lessons a go?
I highly encourage anyone wanting to give piano lessons a go to, just give them a go! Book in the first piano lesson and see how it goes after that.
After the first lesson, there’s no obligation to continue. Give a few teachers or lessons a try too! Because as musos and lifelong students of music ourselves, us piano teachers understand that it’s important to vibe with the music and lessons you’re investing money and time into!
